Cultivory

Terms of service

Last changed October 7, 2026

The agreement between you and Cultivory when you use it. Using Cultivory means you accept it.

Using Cultivory

  • You must be at least 13, and at least 18 to pay for a plan.
  • Cultivory is offered in the United States. Keep your sign-in to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with it.
  • Don’t misuse it. That means no attacking or overloading it, no scraping it, no getting around a plan’s limits, and no using it to harass anyone.

Your household and what you put in it

What you record is yours. You let us store it, show it to your household, and send it to the services named in Privacy, only to run Cultivory for you.

  • A household’s owners decide who belongs to it and in what role. Everyone in it can see its plants.
  • Only put in what you have the right to share. Don’t record other people’s private information or anything unlawful.
  • You can take your data out, or delete it, whenever you like. See Your choices.

Advice is not a guarantee

Advice in Cultivory is a suggestion to check, never a diagnosis. It is written by an AI model from your plant’s record and general reference data, and it can be wrong.

  • What you do with your plants is your decision. We are not responsible for a plant’s health.
  • Notes about toxicity are no substitute for professional help. If a pet may have eaten a plant, call your vet or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435. If a person may have, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
  • Identifying a plant from a photo is a suggestion until you confirm it.

Plans and payment

Free is free for as long as you use it. A paid plan is billed ahead, monthly or yearly, and renews until you cancel it.

  • Payment is by card through Stripe. Prices and limits are shown before you choose a plan, and include sales tax where it applies.
  • You can cancel whenever you like. The plan lasts to the end of the period you paid for, then the household moves to Free. We don’t refund part of a period.
  • Moving up takes effect at once, with a charge for the difference. Moving down takes effect when the paid period ends.
  • Going over a plan’s limit stops you adding more. It never hides or deletes anything you already have, and a household that moves to Free keeps everything.
  • If a price changes, we tell you before it applies to you. It never changes partway through a period you have paid for.

Tags

A tag is yours, and it keeps opening its plant’s record for your household even if your plan ends.

  • Having a tag never gives anyone access to a household. Only its members can open its records.
  • We replace a faulty tag for free. Deleting a household frees its tags to be used again.

Ending

You can stop using Cultivory and delete your account whenever you like.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we tell you first and give you time to take your data out. If we ever stop running Cultivory, we will give you notice and a way to take your data with you.

The legal part

  • Cultivory is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
  • As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that is more.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Indiana, United States.
  • When these terms change, the date at the top changes. For a change that matters, we tell you in Cultivory before it takes effect.
